A great first game of the season despite a lack of a home pitch and some inclement weather. Debut match for Conor McFadden who excelled in both effort and team contribution assisting in a fantastic goal from Charlie Boughton. The first half was tough but following team captain Hugh Whittome’s team talk at half time, the second half ran more smoothly with some great play from youngsters Barney Whittome, Jake Chilton and Jo Riches. Well done to Harry Sidgwick for earning Man of the Match- a well deserved honour this week.
